Barbara... Great job on your dragon!! He really pops on the batik bg you picked.

It may be awhile before I get back to working on Harry. Tring to get some hand sewing/applique ready for when I have my surgery. Going to get a wheelchair and crutches today.  Trying to figure out how to get the wheelchair with the leg lift to the sewing machine. (haa haa)

Judy, I looked at your quilt and it is absolutely stunning.  I think you have conquered the paper piecing with spectacular results and should be very pleased... Great JOB...

Hello!

I'm a newbie both to this site and to quilting and I just wanted to say what an inspiration your work is. When I think of quilting I think of the old fashioned patchwork quilting which is what I'm playing around with at the moment as a beginner. I honestly didn't know something so detailed and so gorgeous could be quilted. :)

Hi Judy,

When is your fair? I'm looking forward to seeing a pic of HP with you grinning beside it and the purple Best of Show ribbon proudly and prominently displayed!

What did the ladies and gents say when you submitted it?

Best of luck, if I'm not too late!

Hi Miz Pat. I deliver it on Monday. The fair opens the following Monday, August 13-18th. I won't get a Best of Show ribbon, (but thank you) probably no ribbon (lots of mistakes that you can't see but a judge definitely will!) but I am so looking forward to seeing it hanging. It will be such fun. I will post a photo of it hanging at the show and me with a big silly grin.

I admit to being really nervous giving it up for two weeks. Especially the week before the fair opens as it will be out there all by it's little lonesome without me to protect it. I sure hope they have good security. I love Harry, he's been my LIFE for most of this year.

In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
