While I am new to this club, I am not new to quilting. I enjoy making quilts. I just finished a rag quilt for myself. My 13 year old made one also. I decided to teach her how to make a diffrent type of quilt and went with a snowball pattern. We have been working on the quilt together and it is almost done. I am planning on donating it. I will try to share some photos in the near future.

EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Thanks for the nice, warm welcome. I have been quilting for a little over 20 years. I had a neighbor that I would watch make quilts. She taught me how to embroidery. I taught myself how to quilt. I am from Nebraska, but have lived in OK City for about 13 years. I came up wtih the name goofyquilter because after being married for 20 years and having 3 kids, and maybe a few other things, I have a goofy side to me. I lack on some computer skills, so, after I get a little help, from one of my kids or husband, I will post some photos.
Welcome, I think you will find we are all a little goofy so you will fit in fine. There is so much these ladies can teach you even when you think you got it. Try some of the various groups and you will have even more fun.
Looking forward to seeing picture of your quilt. We all love seeing what others are doing and get inspiration and ideas.
Goofyquilter, you'll fit right in here, welcome!
