Judy T-Bellingham:
Who knows, you may fall in love with a goat!

What a good idea!  Patti, you have extra time now and a nice size yard to raise a goat!

Thanks Ramona, Gini, Jacy, Barbara and Marie.....I just delivered the quilt to my daughter who is organizing the event. Know what she said? "OH MY GOODNESS, Randy (her hubby) will bid out of his mind for this"

Now I'm working on one more easy one for the auction. It will be a 30" square dog mat with a log cabin background and a dog whizzing on a tree. I should be able to finish this in one afternoon. No quilting as I'm sewing the strips directly to the layered back and batting. I suspect Randy will want this one also. He's the 6'5" bear of a man who wraps up in the quilt I made him every day no matter what the weather. Men are SUCH sweet little boys.

Judy T-Bellingham:
I finished the goat quilt that is destined for a charity auction to benefit the New Moon Farm Goat Rescue & Sanctuary here in Washington State.

I love it Judy. You did a wonderful job with it. I expect it to do well at the auction.

Thanks Kris.  I found out it's not an auction excactly. It's a raffle where people buy tickets and put them in the drawing for the particular items they want. My son-in-law is saying he's going to buy the whole role so he can get the quilt. He won't, but it's sweet of him to say so.

Judy,

Isn't it a great feeling when you making something someone really enjoys and uses. Randy seems like a great guy.

You must post a picture of the log cabin/dog quilt too. They are going to sell lots of tickets, if Randy will share. LOL

Good Afternoon:

I think this quilt is so cute.  I have a friend who raises goats and I can never find any patterns that have goats on them.

Could you tell me where you got this pattern as I would like to have it and make it as a gift for my "goat" friend.

Thank you,

Tammany

Thank you. This was a really fun quilt to make. You can get it from the Quilted Frog. The pattern is called Goat Stack

Also, Tammany, I so glad you asked. I had also gotten a pattern from the Quilted Frog called Catch of the Day with cats and gold fish. I forgot I had it. Now I've pulled it out and will put it on my pile of "I want to make this".
