Vitamin bottles with a flip top cap are great for storing old needles and dull or bent pins.  When it's full - throw the bottle away.  The flip top is quicker than unscrewing a lid! (My brand is Os-Cal, there may be others)

That's exactly what I use! Except DH just drilled a little hole in the top of  a screw top child proof  medicine bottle. Just toss when it's full. We think alike.

Great idea about Needle and pin disposal. I research on that I got so many options about that. It comes with so many different sizes and designs with plastic lid,screw cap,flip top cap etc. I like the idea that way you represent.
