one day while walking through the fishing rod department, I noticed rod tip covers. my sewing scissors now have a new home. mine were 99 cents each.  the plastic tackle boxes are great for storing sewing supplies also.

Great tip.  Thanks for sharing.  I also use a lot of things that come from the sporting goods and hardware dept for my quilting supplies.  They are alot cheaper.

I really appreciate your information to keep scissor in scissor holder. I heard about Rod tip cover but I didn't found it yet. Can you please tell me where can I this type of cover?
