Hi Diane,

I purchased the sailboat fabric  in Framingham, MA at Sew-Fisticated in July, 2011. I don't think they have an on line store but here is the fabric name:

"457  Seaside Fishing Boats"  makower uk   The Henley Studio

Good Luck!

Janet

WOW! I took the pad off of my ironing board tonight before pressing my 16-patches...what a difference! I can't believe how much "flatter" the seam allowances are.  Another newbie lesson learned! :)

I pinned several rows together in the way I think the quilt will go together...If I'm right, it's pretty kewl :)

Back to the machine...another quilt and placemats waiting.....

On behalf of men, I would like to wish all of you Mothers and Wives a very Happy Mother's Day.  Thank you for the sacrifices you have all made in order to raise your children and keep your families safe and warm.  We all owe you our deepest respect and gratitude for what you have done.  God Bless and have a safe and happy day.

Thank you Jim, a very thoughtful and kind thing to say.  I thank you as mother of 2, ex-step-mother of 4 and honorary grandma (of the ex-steps) to two (technically one, #2 should be here very very soon).

I ,too had 1/2 my blocks spinning one way, and 1/2 the other , so I made piles and matched them up from each pile, which wasn't as varied as I wanted but didnt feel like redoing 1/2 of them. turned out ok, I tend to overmatch anyway, this was more random.

For those of you saving all the HST, Edyta Sitar from Laundry Basket Quilts uses a LOT of those in her patterns, and has a really nice sailboat one(maybe some of you would like). I think I'm making Treefarm next.

Thanks for the best on Mother's Day.  Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and all who have/had mothers. Where would we be without them.

Ginny I looked at the Laundry Basket Quilts and added at least 5 to my wish list, (wish I had the time to make them).  Thanks for pointing them out to us
