I finished the quilt for my husband. All except the label. I'll do that later. He loves Mark Twain sayings so I free motion stitched some things in one of the inner borders. That was fun! I'll have to do that again. Just like writing. I put more detail in the photo I posted in my gallery. I started with the free River Stories pattern but it bears little resemblence after I re-did it in EQ7. I changed my mind over and over how I wanted the various borders to look. All in all, I'm very happy with it and George is thrilled.

Mark Twain is really gorgeous. Wow, great design. And your borders are beautiful- really a great design. You really put a lot of work into this quilt and it shows. I love the back of the quilt too, its like 2 quilts in one.

Love it Judy. Nice job front and back. I know hubby loves it.
Judy - I saw your quilt over in Show and Tell. I love how you did the sayings around the border. Great job.
Thanks Patti. Yes I did the writing free motion through all layers. I used that pen thingy to hand write and then used the free motion. It's fun. I learned a few things for the next time.
Great Job Judy. I love all those borders. That's one great quilt!
