gini:
the good thing about babies  is, we can't start a new baby until we're finished with the one we're working on.  can't say that about quilting.

that's why I weigh so much!

So this quilt is for him and his wife to be.

Patti, loved your story and wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of joy and happiness.  God Bless.

Patricia Faye--

If it would help, I would be willing to send you a packet of scraps so that you have different fabric to work with.  If you could use more fabric, just friend me.

(I hope this isn't a double-post; I got an error message so I am posting again)

Pam and Patti, gorgeous quilts.

Gini, very funny analogy. today I worked on my mystery. I haven't touched part nine and part 10 is already a few weeks in my possession. I started reading it and it turns out I need part 7 (not completed yet) and part 9. Hmmm. I'd better start some catching up.

Gerie.

Patti:

not yet today, but yesterday I finished the top and got it pinned.  will start quilting this evening.  Our internet was down most of the day yesterday so couldn't post sooner.

I like how you did the borders.  It is beautiful.

Elizabeth, it wore me out just reading your post.  Wow, you've been busy!  I, on the other hand, am still plugging along on the same quilt I've been sharing here for about a month now.  I finished pinning it on the frame and got the first row halfway done.  We'll see how many interruptions pull me away again tomorrow.  Randy said when it's finished, he's going to build a new "table" for my frame - one that's taller and completely level.  Yippee!
