Annie - I love your blocks.  This will be a bright and fun quilt.

I haven't had time to even think about doing my blocks yet.  I'm on overload right now.  Hoping it will slow down in a couple weeks and I can have time to play again.

Claudette, I will tell my grand-daughter when she comes up this week.  She is usually here about 3 or 4 days/week.  I as well will probably get the first machine however, it will most likely be for my grandson.  He loves to sew but isn't into looking & picking out "pretty" quilts as Alexa says.  Malachi loves to sew fabrics using decorative stitches & he loves to "I"ron it as well.  He doesn't say iron but puts the pronumciation on the I. LOL. Do you sew alot of clothing?  I hope your nieces take up your craft but they may be like me & not start it until they are a grown grandmother!

Beth, I think your color choices are great.  I also have a quilt with purple & green & yellow in it & I love the color combo.  Your blocks are very bright & spingy...

I finally got around to sewing the March blocks today.  I had the strips cut out and waiting, but needed to find time to sit down to sew.   I used remnants from the first blocks & some additional colors from my stash.   Also included a picture of  all 6 blocks together.

Hi everyone!

I've had my blocks done for a few days, but just got the pictures taken.  I wish I could take better pics; they always seem to be 'crooked'.  Oh well!   Here they are. I have to say that I was more comfortable with the second block since it wasn't as bulky as the first.  Random is very hard for me so this was way out of my comfort zone.  I need a project like this to make me push my boundaries. LOL

All of my fabric was already in strips in my scrap drawers so it was pretty easy to do these with the cutting already done.

Patricia,

Love your fabric colors.   They remind me of rainbow sherbet

Thanks Leslie.  The quilt should be mostly green with the pink background and maybe a shot of yellow here and there.
