I am really liking the first block. I am wondering what kind of secondary pattern that would give if you just used that block?

Nana, I bet you could draw it out and see

Unfortunately I really can't draw or draft blocks very well. I just do it in my head and nothing goes onto paper..... pretty scary huh????
You said it not I lol, I might give it a try, I have lots of room in my head lol
Nana, here you go. can you tell it looks like it makes squares
The crossings look like lattice. I may just have to do one of these.
Ok whichever one of you got us all hooked on Craftsy.....LOL.... I just purchased the class on making pictorial art quilts. Looks really cool. I have always wanted to learn how to do this. The Stupendous Stitching does look really neat...may try it in the future.
Nana, I think it was all Barbara LOL
Thanks for the heads up on this, Sheri! I received the email, but I might not have gotten around to reading it for some time. As someone else said, "...so many emails from different companies every day..."
I'm all signed up now - it's my Craftsy class number #3. Now let's see how quickly I can fall behind. :-)
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
Nana, you are not alone. I signed up for the free class and then had to sign up for the art quilting class. Oh my aching credit card (sigh) lol
Maggie
Did you do the pictorial art class or the other art class. I noticed they also had an art class on painting your quilt. I hope to have time to watch some of the one I got tomorrow.

Nana,
I'd love to know what you think of this class. I signed up a few months ago but the instructor dives me nuts. I haven't been able to get through all the videos.
Oh no Kris. Hopefully I have better luck.

I know what you mean Kris. She IS a bit "cutsey" but I think I can deal with that. Maybe she's nervous? Maybe she's used to conversing with small children all day? Think about Eleanor Burns who conducts her workshops as if she's still a kindergarten teacher. (lol)
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Eleanor Burns can really get on my nerves after awhile. She is great but listening to her can be a little trying...LOL>
