I'm attempting to make a Pinwheel Block for the corners of my quilt. I' ve sewen three 2 1/2" strips together for the borders. I want the pinwheel blocks at each of my borders. What size should I cut my half-square tri-angles to fit the ends of my borders which will be 6" after sewn to the quilt?
Thank you......... CONFUSED!
To make a 6 1/2 in unfinished block you will need to cut your squares at 3 7/8 in to make your triangles. After you sew your 4 HST blocks together they will measure 6 1/2.
Good Looking out for somewhat beginner. I really appreciate you answering so quickly!
Have a great weekend.
You are very welcome. I hope your quilt turns out beautifully.
And of course we will want to see pictures! :-)
