I just looked at this, and it sounds interesting...  If I am reading this correctly, you don't "win" items, you bid on them and if you are the high bidder (with your points),you get the item.

But how does the shipping costs work?  If you are selling something do you pay the shipping?  Or do you get reimbursed for the shipping cost?  Or, when you buy something, do you pay the shipping costs?  And, if so, how???

I love this site! Yes you bid on items using your points. You are given some points for signing up and them you "auction" you items and whatever points your auction gets are added to your total. As far as shipping it varies by auction. Some people chose to ship for free so there is no cost to the winner. Some charge for shipping, most who do have Paypal to recieve your payments. I have been a member for almost a year now and I have won probably close to $3000 worth of items and only spent about $250 in shipping. I always offer free shipping unless something is very heavy. The Listia modeators moniter shipping charges and there is a way you can report over charges. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Do they sell fabric? If not, why bother?

Sounds interesting.  Is it better for fabric and quilt stuff than Ebay?  I've bought a lot of fabric over the years on Ebay and have been pretty happy with what I got and what I paid.

I have been a member of Listia for almost a year. It has been featured on Good Morning America and several other news programs. Sometimes the site is slow because there are so many on it at once. In the year I have been involved with the site I have never been scamed. Listia also provides a gaurantee to back every auction, if you do not get your item your credits are refunded so you loose nothing. I just thought I would share the site since everyone is in this hard times together. Sorry if I offended anyone.
