I laid out the blocks on the design wall, finally getting them the way I wanted to make the design flow and went to bed. Dearest kitties must have jumped up on the nearby table and spent the night rearranging. When we got up this morning there were blocks all over the place.
Photo as you go is my new hardfast motto.
Dearest kitties. Don't they look innocent.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

They're adorable Judy.
Aw, the kitties look so innocent and cute. I agree with photo as you go. It has helped me on my current project.

How funny Judy. Are you sure they didn't have any help from their puppy dog friend????

Nana: Gee Mom we didn't do anything. We don't know what all the fuss is about..
LOL Nana. Just one of the many joys of being owned by furry critters.
Marge (AKA Dimples): How funny Judy. Are you sure they didn't have any help from their puppy dog friend????
Nope Marge. Corki sleeps in our bedroom otherwise I'm sure she would have been happily egging them on.
photo as you go really helps you find that one block that is turned wrong. Suprisingly you can't see it on your design board but stands out in photo! I do it a lot on my quilts since I bought my digital camera. since I do lots of log cabin blocks (and quilts).
Oh, Judy, too funny! Not so funny for you, I'm sure. Yeah, the photo idea is a good one, kitties or not. In the morning, you look at that photo again to make sure you like it, and then you keep it at your side as you're sewing to make sure the blocks stay in that order.
I have a very similar picture of my two (former) ragdolls in that same position in their cat tree. Wish I still had two cats so that Pickles would have a companion, but I don't dare try to bring another pet into our home now that we're retired and Randy wants to travel for a month at a time.
