Hi all... I am doing a happy dance because I have been trying to buy a short sale house for months and I finally get an accepted offer... This home is on the historical register in our town and is a great little Victorian home.. Its as close to my dream home that I can get without winning the lottery....yeah!!!!!!!!!

Here is a link its a great old home and It wants me to save it.. It has a bad roof leak which the sellers paid to have tarped until closing.. It has been a very frustrating time trying to get this , but we are on the home stretch....

Thanks everyone for listening....

What a great old home Kelley.  So much room for the dogs!!  Love the clawfoot tub in the bath and that beautiful leaded glass bay window.

It looks like the owner kept it in pretty good shape.  That is a lot of roof to re-shingle.  Too bad you are way up there...... my son works for his BIL who is a roofing contractor.  I hope you will post pictures as you make the house your own.  I want to see some quilts hanging up in there.

Gosh it has been so long since I lived in a house with radiators - - like probably 50 years.  I seem to remember that it was really warm by the radiator but cold on the opposite side of the room.  I know you don't want to hear that. :o(  The dogs will probably camp out by a radiator on cold Illinois days.

How about quilts on that beautiful stairway??

Gorgeous home.  I know you will have fun doing all kinds of neat decorating.   I have always loved Victorian homes.   Congratulations.
