Howdy All!

So Nana, bless you for calling to see if I could come to the retreat. While I am too much of a working stiff now to take off a whole week I will do my best to come crash your party for the first few days. You can put me on a couch somewhere with a pillow, my sewing machine and a party drink and I'll be a happy camper!

Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

I thought maybe you guys were sleeping out on the deck to catch a glimpse of the northern lights.  I heard they made an appearance in the southern US last evening.  We are far from the lights of town, but we are surrounded by trees, so I rarely know if they are putting on a display.

It will be nice to meet you, Liz.

From what I have been told, there is a 12 week physical therapy rehab recovery after rotator cuff repair.  I am looking at having to have it done also if my shoulder acts up again.   This is just what I have been told by everyone who has had this surgery done and the doctor agrees that that ispretty much the norm.  Ginny

Ginny:
rotator cuff repair

I am looking at having that done also. I see the Ortho Nov 7 and will see when they can schedule me. I want it done asap so I will be rearing to go by April. It depends on the method of surgery and the person as to how long the recovery is. I have been putting my surgery off for almost a year, and I guess I can't put it off any longer. Not looking forward to it.

Nana:
I don't much care for the Black Russians but White Russians are pretty good.   They are even better if you add a bit of butterscotch schnapps.....yummy.

Nana

I am with you, prefer the White Russians, I will have to try the "butterscotch" added, that sounds yummy.  I haven't had a drink in sooooo very long my stomach would probably call 911 and say is this really her drinking? Unbelievable! But by April I think I will be good and Ready! LOL

Mary,

AZ is good for retreats in the cooler months- November through March. That would be the Phoenix area. In January we usually have a Quilting in the Desert with lots of great classes to attend.

Summer months would be up in the mountains where it is cooler.

We can always open it up for discussion for everyone to think about with a margarita or Black Russian or glass of wine. LOL

Marlene, it is going to be so nice to finally meet you.  Calley will be home with our dog sitter, so now I can tell her Ms Cricket doesn't get to come either.

Nancy

It will be wonderful to meet you also.  Please do not breathe a word of this retreat to Ms. Cricket.  It she knows I am meeting all the furbabies moms she will be pea green with envy.  I still remember what she did during the last retreat y'all had.  I never seen so many furbabies in my house!  That girl will be having another PARTY! LOL

It is April yet?

One sewing machine? OMG but you have a LA! Lucky you!
