I need help,  I am going to applique some bunnies and butterfoies on a baby blanket.  My question---     If I use the blanket stitch on my machine to sew the fused appliqued bunny to the background, will it end up coming up after repeated washings?  Will the edges come out of the stitching?  I know that satin stiched appliques do not.  Help me please!!

Thank you

you might get a little fraying, but they shouldn't come off.   make sure you use a smaller button hole.  i make my stitches closer together and a little shorter

Also you could cut the fusible just a bit smaller than the actualy fabric of the bunny and butterfly's that would help it I think from showing up or coming out during the washes.
