Save the large plastic spools with rims that gift ribbon comes on (Xmas is a great time to save these) wrap your bias bind on them.  The rim keeps the binding from slipping off. I slip it on my right wrist as I am right-handed.  As you machine sew the binding on the quilt edge, it just reels off the "bracelet"  with no tangles or chance of getting caught on furniture or feet.  Some may prefer to slip the "bracelet" on a soft fabric loop (or one of those conference nametag lanyards) and hang it around their neck .

I have several of these because I hat to throw anything away that might be useful.  So far all I've used them for is to roll up the longer leftover strips from log cabin blocks.  Now I have a second use!
