Hi everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your day.
I finished my first Bubble quilt last night. I loved putting this all together. I have lots of oops' and uh ohs but I have to say it was fun and I couldn't have done without all your tips and help.
When I got up this morning and I had two people wanting to order one from me. How funny is that?
I wouldn't have any idea what to charge anyone. I made this one for my newest grand-daughter Genevieve who is now 3 months old.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
You have done a great job! I love the colors!
enjoy your day too!! off to quilt now lol
You did a great job. I really like all the colors in the bubble quilt.
Beautiful quilt, I did one like this but in crib size, they are alot of fun
This one is only 45" x 52". I guess that's crib size?
Thanks everyone for all your comments.
I really had fun with this one. Thinking about make up a couple more but I still have two other quilts stuck in my head.
Off to quilt now!

Your bubble quilt is gorgeous. That isn't an easy pattern and you have done an amazing job.
I have a silly question for you. Did you use batting in the quilt and if so what kind. I have a couple of baby quilts to make and have some cute fabric this quilt pattern would be great for. Thanks for your help.
There are no silly questions. Believe me, I've asked these ladies alot of them.
This quilt is made entirely out of flannel. There is no batting used and it pretty much self quilts itself.
I guess you could use batting but I think you would have to use a VERY light batting because after you stitch down all the corners it gets a little heavy.
I got this idea out of Quilt magazine- Aug/Sept 2011 edition page 28. I saw it and just thought it was the cutest thing.
It is so much fun.
Ladies, do you have any suggestions for Ann? Could you make this quilt out of cotton? If so, please tell us how you did it.
You all know I'm a newbie to quilting. ;~)
The best part about this quilt is that it is so easy.
This looks like fun. I have to put this on my list of quilts to make.
So pretty and the colors are great, I know your DGD will love it, even if she isn't old enough to say so!
Pretty bubble quilt, Sylvia! The colors are great together. I'm not brave enough to try curved piecing yet - looks like you did a wonderful job on those curves :-)
