Patricia Schlindwein: Is anyone else confused by these directions? If I am going to make the smaller quilt will I have six groups? Six groups with an A - B - C in each group?

Patricia,
What I did is pull a light, medium, and dark strip for each block. I decided to use the medium as my A in each block, the light for B, and the dark for C. I did this for all the blocks so that I can easily keep track of the A,B,C cuts.
How you lay your strips out for each block is totally up to you, but each block will have three fabric strips and cut according to the directions of a, b, c. Then it is recommended to number each block, and also use the block number and the letter for each strip that you have cut according to the directions of a,b,c.
Penny, your fabrics look wonderful together.

ZSofia, your fabrics are pretty.
ROFLOL Marie, I am trying to play nice.
My question also - is one jelly roll enought? I would love to get one and get startede, but want to be sure it's all I need.
Very pretty fabrics, Penny! Glad you joined us on this MQ!
Zsofia, I love your fabrics! The ones above the batiks look like millefiore (hope I spelled that right) :-)
PatW: My question also - is one jelly roll enought? I would love to get one and get startede, but want to be sure it's all I need.
PatW, I'll add a bit to Leslie's answer - 30 worms plus the background, sashing & border fabric (as listed in the fabric instructions) will get you a 62.5" by 74.5" quilt.
Eileen, they are actually the Paperweight collection I wish I had the Millefiore in that many colors :).
Thanks, Zsofia! They're very pretty.
everyones fabric is so pretty. I have my 90 yr old mom staying with me right now. If i can leave her long enough to get upstairs to my sewing room, i might be able to get some cutting done. Maybe my daughter will come over and watch her so I can cut and label and bag. sorry, just thinking out loud.
can't wait to get started.

This post was new to me. I didn't write it. There must be another Ginny around that spells the same as I do. I am sorry that I am not going to join in this one. But with getting the new machine and having 5 quilts and 1 tabletopper requested for Christmas, I've got to get crackin' . .......Ginny

Stephanie - thanks for the picture - makes it very clear. I also knew I had some of those Post it pop ups and finally found them. They will work great! BTW - nice fabrics!
Now you can come and cut mine! LOL
