Really like this, can't wait to see the finished quilt. Everyone here is just so talented.
Looks like I will be working on quilt today. Was suppose to join friends for a birthday lunch for two of them. However the snow fell last night and I don't think any of us will be getting out today. so I will wrap some presents, clean the house and work on the chevy 454 quilt for my nephew. Need to get it done before Christmas anyway. Everyone have a good day
Not yet....been up since 5:30am...slept like a log! Got to get dressed, still in jammies! Gonna start on Gracie's Sherbert SOONEST!
Gini, h-mmmm! Just put me at the end of the line, they can all just rotate to MOI!
Cindy, love that poinsietta table runner...I sure can't spell...SORRY!
Eileen, your bargello is looking good. Love the colors - even if they are a bit washed out in the picture. You can still feel the flow of the colors.
Jeanine. I like your bed runners. Someone told me that they are to protect the bed from any dirt that might be on your suitcase --- or from shoes when folks lie down on the beds with their shoes on.
I am sure your friends children will cherish the quilts made from their dad's shirts. Nice work.
Jeanine,Your quilt and bed runner are both very pretty, Love your colors.Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Eileen, this is beautiful, looks like its really hard to do ,keeping track of how your colors go, Really very nice...Barbara
This thread is starting to sound like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Quilt...8-)
Well at least we don't have to worry about sizes with quilts as opposed to pants.
Beautiful bedrunners. Thanks for sharing.
The "shirt" quilts are beautiful. What an awesome way to do a rememberance quilt.
Your bargello is going to be stunning. Awesome colors and a great job on construction.
The shirt quilt reminded me ones I did several years ago...Only I did it from the flannel shirts from my 5 sons & DH
they (6) turned out much better that I expected.. I used a cotton batting..but for the back I used t-shirt fabric...Now they all have
car/truck blankets. I made them all the same size..all about 60 x 70 ". I machine quilted them. So you could say I have gone Green..I enjoy finding uses for
found fabric..denim jeans..crazy quilts.....I love to recycle.fabrics..only the stories they could tell.. just imagine the gossip at the quilting bee!!..LOL
Thanks for the reminder.....
