Barbara,

I haven't gone to sleep yet so I'm surfing the net and reading emails from QCA that I missed over the weekend.

If you have the CD, it is not critical to have the book.  I printed out a bunch of paper piecing templates and only refer to the book when it is more handy than my laptop for ideas on fabric colors.

Kris:

Very nice blocks Grandma Sal. I like the Farmer's Wife quilt. I don't have the book but I have the CD to use with EQ7.

Hey Nana, maybe we could do this one together .

Kris

That sounds great.  Maybe I will manage to get it done if someone else is working with me.   I have really fallen in love with the sampler quilts.

Kris~

I forgot to tell you.......I'm doing the Patchwork Party and am waiting for my first batch of squishies. I'm making it for my friend and have until spring to finish it. I'll be starting that after the Christmas madness rush is over. But I really like this sampler so might have to do that, too. Here I go again!!!!!!!!!! You guys are such enablers.

Peanutbutter fudge sounds good Nana. I'm not in the mood to cook, but I am usually in the mood to eat. LOL!

I have not worked on a quilt. I am trying to get motivated to go work on MQ2. It is on the machine but I want to do something else. I am not allowing myself to start anything new till I finish MQ2 and BOM and I am pouting and wondering why I ever thought that was a good idea. ROFLOL! I think I might be losing it here ladies. Guess I better just suck it up and work on MQ2.

Ms MoomMist:
I remember a blanket stitch butterfly quilt that my grandmother made for my mother when I was very young

I had one of these too that my Grandmother made me when I got married back in the '60's.  We wore it out.  Oh how I wish I had something made by Grandma now.  :o(

Nana

Here in KY those peanut butter balls are called Buckeyes.  My family has a standing order in for them for Christmas. Hubby is already asking when I am going to make them.  I only do once a year because my hands will hurt for a few days after.  I keep that part to myself and they think it is just something special I do for Christmas
