Lorraine, love your rag quilt, great colors, good job!
When Kris,Diane and I got together last weekend I bought flannel fabric all on sale to make a rag quilt, hope it comes out as nice as yours.
Lorraine your dinosaur is precious! Good Job!
Your rag quilt is great. Marie got some real nice fabrics to make one. We'll be anxious to see hers when it is done, too.
I worked on a quilt today. I started another Downy Kid quilt. I've never had a problem sewing nice and straight, now I can cut nice and straight with the QuiltCut2 now if I could read directions, I'd be all set. I cut the first strips wrong......managed to make enough squares and hopefully now I will pay more attention and that it sticks in my head!

Lorraine your quilts are great.
I squared some squares for mq3 border during lunch today and embroidered my daughters lab coats tonight with her name and a horse shoe so people will know they are hers lol. I am away for the weekend but may take the rest of my quilt blocks to square if I get spare time. Have a great Halloween weekend all. stay safe.
Well I prepared my blocks and left them at home so I still haven't done any sewing. Drat.
Thank you ladies for the nice comments on my quilts. I wanted you to see all of the dinosaur quilt. I know you will do great on your rag quilt. I said I would never do another but i have changed my mind. I like the way they look. You ladies have a great weekend.
I didnt get to work on a quilt today.. We carved pumpkins tonight... this is a fav family event for us...

I didn't work on a quilt - yet. Hopefully after dinner. Tonight is baby taco salad night! :-) That would be baby taco salads for me, in the Scoopable chip things. Glenn doesn't eat cards, so he eats his taco in low carb wraps - which, IMO, taste like cardboard. LOL!
(This is a baby taco! LOL!)
I'm writing here because Diane said she could find the thread. This should move it up the list.
Cute little taco! Made me laugh.
I worked on the MQ3 today. I got 4 rows sewn together. I'm going to hate to end this top...it's like a good book that you hate to put down. Tomorrow I'll sew all day and get the borders going.
Anyone else sew today??????
Finally! Ever since they changed the format, I had been having trouble logging on to post any comments until now. I bought the F&P Quilting Celebrations magazine with Patrick Lose projects. Today I'm doing some satin stitching on some appliques for the larger Christmas table topper. Instead of the holly leaves I changed the appliques to a mix of framed Santas and shaped cookie cut outs. It has a fun look and it will be used with a small table tree. I'll post a picture when I get done with it.
While I've been busy on the machine, my dear husband carved a pumpkin to look like our dog. We were lucky to get this picture, as our dog does not like to sit for the camera :)
Wow, Mary! Your husband is really talented! That pumpkin looks exactly like your dog. I've always admired people who could draw and paint - and obviously carve pumpkins!
Love the photo. Your pumpkin and your dog are precious.
Thanks for your sweet comments.
