Kris, very nice - I just love the precision that the DJ blocks afford one!  You have done wonderfully.

I worked on rounded log cabins last night - have 6 of the appliques satin stitched down... 6 to go - hope to get them done today and then to sandwich and start quilting my brother's quilt... that is what I call it now... all thoughts are on him when I am making it.

Kris this is gorgeous!  Your work is soooo good!  Love the fabrics also.  I'm missing you, can we get together again soon?

Thanks Marge. It's not complicated at all. It's a Log Cabin variation. The pieces are really small though. The block is five inches unfinished.

Hey all you ECBers.   I have my DH convinced that we should come to New England next year just so that I can meet all you guys and see your lovely states.  I don't have any details but am pretty sure that sometime next year I will get to meet you ladies...so excited.

Oh, be still my heart! That would be great!!!!!!!!! We'll hold you to that! Maybe by next year my house will be neat and tidy and you can stay here! You're allergic to cats though, right? We'll find plenty to keep you and DH busy. Wayne and Jason can play with him while we all play.

No.  But, I did buy fabric for a quilted Christmas table runner (for my sister)  and a quilted christmas table mat.  Does that count?

Kris

I want to meet you and Diane and Marie so badly.  I feel like I already know all of you and just haven't had the opportunity to set and talk and laugh and fabric shop.....LOL.

Yep, it is all part of the process, so of course it counts.

While  you guys are in New England give me a shout, I am about 1-1/2 hours from the border so could pop down as well.
