Nana,
Here I put it on to show Joni, and now it's going back on my wishlist. LOL.
I worked on MQ2 triangles and ordered silk embroydery floss for the CQ. I can't wait to get it. It's like candy :)
I just don't have enough time on work nights to accomplish much. Wish I didn't have to work, but, hey, it's the only way I can afford to live and still quilt. Yes, I'm thankful for my job. I just wish I could make $ quilting. Oh, well. Maybe some day.

Linny, The silk floss sounds exquisite. I know, it's so hard to work and do the things we love. Between that and housework it's a real challenge to make time for our beloved hobby. Keep living the dream of making $ quilting someday. The beauty of life is that we just never know where it'll lead us. Have a good night.
Sheesh, I go to work for one day and have 4 or 5 pages to read in this thread! LOL Linny, I'm with you - wish I didn't have to work!
Judy, thanks for the link to the folding tool :-)
Joanne, your bag is cool - I love the fun fabric :-) Hope your machine is working again soon.
Judy J, your postcard quilt is lovely - the blue is very calming and I like the variety of fabrics which make up the postcards!
Welcome to Janice - not sure if I;ve said that yet. Hope you're enjoying QCA so far :-)
Stephanie, that Nuance fabric is lovely -I've seen it on the website or in the catalog. Don't think I could cut into it either! LOL
No time to quilt today, but I should have some time tomorrow morn before work.
Love the purse Jo-anne. Excellent job. Love the fabric choice.
I know when your machine has something wrong with it , you feel lost for a while. But obviously you recuped quite nicely.
Glad you enjoyed your class and made a beautiful bag to boot.

Kris: Judy, your Day and Night quilt turned out great. I love it. I really like you fabric storage area. I could look at that all day.

Any time you want to come and visit, Kris, you can stay here and we can work in my studio. Heck, I'll even take you to Yellowstone Park and Devil's Tower. :-)

Thanks Edith, it sure does not take long to realize that your sewing machine is your best friend.....well that's a little over the top, but close.

Very tempting offer Judy. It won't be easy to get rid of me. You may have to adopt me. LOL

No, as soon as the first snowstorm or tornado came, you'd be gone! LOL! Glenn, BTW, is a very good cook! He'd even cook for your DH, too!
ROFLOL So true Judy.
Judy Iliff: this could be the alternate block, but it may be too busy.

Great minds think alike. Here's a picture of my Going Bonkers quilt top.
The variable star is the alternate block, but I simplified it by using only two colors instead of three, and the darks and lights are reversed.
Judy J., your going bonkers quilt is great fun! So many cat lovers on here - you know people are going to say, "if you don't have a spot for it, I do!" LOL
I like your new avatar -who's with you in the photo?
Judy j - Very nice quilt - it is very bright and fun! Makes me smile!
