Thanks for the welcome. Hey! You're one of the group! I'm sure you are very talented as well. I'm still a newbie at longarm quilting. Since we live part time in Fla and Ky and my machine lives in KY, I don't get to do as much as I like. Each time I come back it's all new again. Hugs
Hi Ramona, welcome to our family! Enjoy!
Thank you very much for the compliment. We do stay in Fl for at least Nov and Dec to spend holidays with family. Depends on what we have going on. Sometimes we are here in Jan and Feb. We didn't plan on the second home thing but with the economy we haven't put the Florida home up for sale. Doesn't appear things are going to turn around for us any time soon. My husband retired 4 yrs ago and we had hoped to move then. Economy, parents and children have just not allowed us to make the full move. It's not really set in stone when we are here or there. Sometimes it a few months here and a few months there. I feel I just get settled and used to my machine again and off we go. I will be glad when we can get totally settled. We have a 2 bdrm cabin here in KY that we built and planned on living in it while we build our house. Would just love to get started on it. I have a separate building for my sewing, embroidery, quilting and fabric. Thanks for welcoming me and it does appear to be a great site. I have posted a couple of pictures. Hugs
Thank you for the welcome!
Thank you Nancy and Nana. Just celebrated by 59th birthday last week. Yes, it gets cold in KY but not as bad as Minnesota or Virginia. We are on the Cumberland River and most of the weather goes around us. We only get a inch or so of snow every now and then during the winter and it usually only lasts a day. I love the white stuff and we both like the cooler weather.
Leslie, Barbara, Paula and Gini........Thanks for the welcome. Hugs
