it is a quilt.  it isn't finished,  it needs a binding, the trees attached, more tulle laid down, more trees made to go over the  tulle, and a label.  but it's a quilt.

Right, by the time the plane lands and the pilot and I are on our fifth margarita I should have happily signed all my blocks. : )

Gini - It looks awesome in the picture which means it must be fantabulous in person.  You did a really good job.  I love those thread trees... and the snow coming off the mountain - i can feel the cool...

I didn't get much done on DWR today - my seam ripper and I were great friends today - not sure what was happening but finally decided my eye to hand coordination just wasn't working... I do have 6 rows almost complete - 2 and about 1/2 to go... then to sew them all together... still thinking about that backing fabric - am going to start looking at quilt backings and see if something hits me in the eye...

So many things on my plate and it seems like the time I am able to sew each day is diminishing... but I am sticking to it next year - no new projects - only the ones I have already started or have the fabric for... I am getting some of these dreams completed...lol

I got out some old books of quilting designs today - have lots of quilt tops to try them out on - surprising how many books I have on the subject...

Got some more out of what will be Mom's room - getting there and a lot of scraps went into the trash bag...

Your teapot quilt is absolutely beautiful. All the blocks are so unique and pretty enough to stand alone. What a great job you did on this. I just got to see your last 2 blocks and they were more winners.
