Barbara, you set the bar really high!  Love the teapots -- by the way, did you do them with fusible applique or hand sewn?

All of your teapots are gorgeous.  I can't pick a favorite.  They are all beautiful.

I think I would pick a fabric for sashing and then use it for a small inner border.   Then maybe a black or brown outer border to frame the teapots.  I'm not sure.  I would probably have to audition fabrics before I could decide for sure.

thanks Nana ,that is more then I've come up with , anyway, I know I want to do a sashing I just don't know if I should do a solid which I really don't want to do, I'm thinking a light print of some sort, and not a heavy print  and then a darker border . Decision decisions  LOL Barbara

My first thought was one of the marbled fabrics as sashing to give it a "picture frame" look.

Barbara - I would love to see you do some pieced blocks between all the teapots - in different fabrics that might have sugar cubes or tea bags to things similar... Instead of just plain sashings - set them all in different size areas... you could do something like I did with Caterwauling... I used all sorts of different blocks around my centers... makes the quilt a little bit more interesting to me.  They have a lot of cafe' fabrics out right now.  Moda has a designer that has done some for about 2 years... so some are on close out sales at a lot of the shops... I would love to work with you on this idea.

Elizabeth:

Every one is doing such beautiful work.  I just posted several projects in my gallery (page 2).  Have gotten 7 projects done and only Three more to complete.  They don't need to be done in any time fram so no worries

Elizabeth I took a peek in the gallery...all very nice, you have been busy. Wow 7 projects, I really could use some of your motivation.
