 Marge - your little orphans are adorable.  I am such a softy that I probably wouldn't be able to give them up.

For the next two weeks I am working 7:30 to 4:30 instead of 12:00 to 6:00.  I would love to keep the 7:30 sift but that is impossible for now, so I will take the hours when I can get them.  Some of the babies are still sick so this afternoon was a little crazy and eneded up sending two little guys back home.  I wish the parents would leave them home until they are better.

I will work a little on SIL's quilt here shortly.  We had a nice afternoon/early evening rain that has cooled us off a little.

Diana - so sorry that your cousin lost her home.  Can't say as I blame them for walking away at their age.  Some of their pictures may be salvageable.  My hubby Dave belongs to a group called Operation Photo Rescue that does restoration work on stuff like that.  You would be amazed at what they can do.

Take care on your travels home.

Marge (AKA Dimples):
 Marge - your little orphans are adorable.  I am such a softy that I probably wouldn't be able to give them up.

 I sent pictures to my three adult kids last night and had an email from my daughter today asking if she could have the male kitten.  She called this morning and I told her that they were just too young to separate, they would do better if they stayed together.  She checked with her hubby and he said yes, bring them home.  I have a dental appt tomorrow in Omak (ugh!) and they live 9 miles from there so will meet them and turn custody over to them. :-(  I know they will have a good home - can't believe the vet bills those kids pay for their charges, both dogs and cats.  So the kitties will have a new home, they were down to one male cat who will probably be a bit unhappy but he has always shared his home with other cats where our Rastus has been the only one around for 16 years.  They have a very old cat, China, who is pretty senile and should be no problem.  Their grown up girls have taken their own cats home so Kim and John want some new kitties.  Here are two pictures I took today of them after they had just eaten.  They had gotten pretty messy in drinking their milk.  At least I can go and visit them! ;-)  Oops, didn't think the first one was entered so now I have three the same.  Sorry!

Oh, my goodness. Love those quilts. What a great use of old hankies. How specail. That gate is so cool.

Today, I ask for your prayers. I am having a broncoscopy. that's is where they put s scope down your windpipe. They are looking for inflammation or damage to the windpipe and voicebox due to the terrible cough I have had for 5 months now. I cough really hard, almost constantly. I am SO scared. ; {

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.  If you have never had a bronchoscopy before try not to be scared of the procedure.  It really isn't too bad and they usually give you some nice sedation.  Hope all your results are good.
