Reuse tissue boxes

Keep an empty tissue box by your sewing/embroidery machine to catch threads, scraps, etc.  When full just throw it away, or better yet, recycle!

Oh, good one, i was quilting last night and had to walk to the garbage all night long with snips of thread wondering how to do this better, this may be it!!

Speaking of recycling if any of you out there are crafters as well you can take the colored thread and mix it in with the pulp when you make paper. When the pulp is put in a mold the effect is stunning. Especially your threads used for machine embroidery. Great idea Katherin! I like the tissue box better than what I have been doing - throwing them in a pile then cramming them in a plastic bag to be used later.
