Grandma Sal, thanks for the reminder about the zippers. Do you have to sew a zipper onto the quilt top or backing? I'm wondering how those work & what's involved.
Happy New Year to you, too, Ramona! Nice picture of fireworks :-)
Thank you Eileen!!
Jeanine, you did a beautiful job!

The backing is sewn to two leaders, and the top is pinned to a third leader. All three of these leaders have zippers on them. I made a mini tutorial that I posted on my blog page back a while ago... www.grandmasals.blogspot.com/search/label/zippers.
Grandma Sal,
That's great. I have a friend who needs a new set of leaders. Where did you get your heavy duty long zippers? Thanks

Bought them online at www.zipperstop.com
Thanks Grandma Sal
Hi Ramona C,
I have been looking at the Red Snapper system and was reading this thread to my DH. I purchased my set this morning at my DH's urging! I am excited!
Thanks to all for all the information that you shared!

RamonaC,
My belly bar has big pins in it and my boobs are a bit south, these darn pins are painful! LOL!
Judylee,
Sounds like you and I have the same belly/boob bar trouble. It takes "belly up to the bar" (in the quilting world of course) to a new deminsion. I went to an apron that I bought at Joann's and relieved the sticking and grabbing of my clothes. If an apron isn't to your liking then keep masking tape handy and run a strip of masking tape all the way across the pins when you get to that point and see if that doesn't help.
Glad you got your Red Snappers. Let us know how you like them!. Your hubby is so good to you!
I just wanted to mention that my apron is one that goes around the neck and hangs down. It's not a waist one that my boobs can slide under. hehehehe
ramona and judy lee, you two are putting a whole new dimension on getting your t*ts caught in a wringer.

Gini,
