Elizabeth,

That is fantastic!! It's such a wonderful feeing doing the custom. My problem is coming up with ideas to do where. I only have one friend that I do custom for. Haven't even tried it on something of my own yet. Maybe in another week I'll have a quilt done and can try to custom quilt it. Congratulations on your custom quilt!!!! I know your sister is going to love it.

Thanks everyone for the reply on the stitches.    Everything is going smoothly with my machine now and I am tickled to death.   Did a tabletopper that I need to us the 50 wgt thread and thought, oh boy, never did get this to work before.   Well I had  NO problems.   Then I put the queen size quilt on the frame and back to the 40wgt thread.    and then----and then      yippee no problems what so ever.    (have I died and gone to heaven?)    Everything is working well, stitches are great, did not even have to do any adjusting.

Now I just need everyone to leave me alone and let me quilt.    The last couple of days, I could not even get down to the quilting house,.   Oh well, my grandson needed some help and he is more important right now.  Today I will be out of town this afternoon  and tomorrow morning is club time,  but Saturday afternoon I am hiding at the quilt house and just wallowing in the fun.

Everyone have a happy quilty day

I know what you mean.  This quilt had me stumped.  Usually when I make the quilt the quilting becomes clear.  Not this one.  It has been on the frame for a month.  Tried three differant things in the big on point blocks.  Finally ordered the feather wreath groovy board. and so glad I did I love it.  Plus it has three sized wreaths on it.  Then they forgot my order so to be nice they sent me a free board!!!

Elizabeth,

Wow! Good coming out of something bad. That's great. Those boards are expensive and to give you a free one! Good for you. Glad all is working out for you. That's always a great feeling.

Feathers on the quilt,  but some kind of shiny thing around my head.  I thought it was just the overhead light, but I don't know??????  LOL

Hi Ladies.  I'm needing advice.  I am a fairly new long armer, and I was asked to quilt a comfort quilt for a member of my guild.  It is a friendship quilt with sashing.  Anyone have any suggestions?I would greatly appreciate it!
