This quilt has been lurking in my closet for two years. I don't like to have UFO's hanging over my head! The squares are blue/white flannel, the logos are blue/white fleece, all blanket stitched by hand. The blocks measure 6 1/2" w/out the fringe. I cut the logos out using the freezer paper method, it made me appreciate my die cut machine even more! I wouldn't like applique if I had to use the freezer paper method! At least I could use my die cut machine to cut the rag squares and the batting squares. I can't imagine cutting all that fringe by hand. ugh!
somehow my name got cut off!
Nice work on the Yankees quilt. My eyes would have been jumping out of my head if I'd been working on this one. Bet it will be a "home run" for someone. That remark was pun-intentional, BTW
Oh very nice. I don't like UFO's either but I have several lol. It took me four years to finally sandwich and quilt my first ever quilt lol. I start a class also in the middle of making quilts for family and friends and myself lol. Eventually the ones I have will get done.
Very pretty quilt. You did a great job.
Rose , very nice quilt , Must have been tuff working with the fabric , but it came out great ..Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Great quilt Rose! Good job! It would've remained a UFO had it been mine, too much work for me.
wonderful quilt, and what a lot of work involved. good for you

Well done Rose. I hope that Yankee fan appreciates all the work you put into it.
thanks! for the compliments. I'm not sure if my husband appreciates the hard work or not, so this is the last quilt he is getting for a while. If I see this one being mistreated, it may "disapear" to a better home.
I finished two projects yesterday, one big one and one little one. The little one was the table topper for my daughter's birthday and the big one was recovering 6 dining room chairs for my other daughter. Sure felt good to get those items off the list. I've got one more UFO that has to get finished this week (a tote bag for my neighbor's birthday) and then I can get back to working on the bigger projects.

P.S. I forgot to take a picture of the table topper, so now must wait for my daughter to send one to me so I can post it.
congrats!!! Being done is the best feeling. Now on to new projects right?
New projects that are for customers or for my booth at a train festival in October. I took the last few weeks to only work on "my" projects. It sure did feel good!
