I'm very new to quilting, and have only made square or rectangular quilts so far. Binding them has been easy! I'd like to try some other shapes like octagons or circles, etc. In my mind I just cant figure out how to do the binding on them, lol
I'd love any help or suggestions!
Nothing like jumping in at the deep end!! Scallops scare me, you should be able to google videos to show you how to do the odd bindings. Fons and Porter have had scalloped binding in several mags over the years so if you have any back issues (or maybe on line) you should be able to find them. Good luck.
linda, it's easy. you just use a very teensy binding 1/4 inch finished, cut on the bias. when you get to a inny or outy, you just fold the binding in on itself as you go. that will become self-explanatory as you sew the binding on gini
