Unable to upload to gallery

I am unable to upload a picture to my gallery.  Once I choose the file to upload and click Save - nothing happens.

Linda I highlight the pic then click choose and then add and it should come up.  Hope this helps.

on mine, I highlight the file, then click open and it goes right in
