Hi,

I just joined the "Quilters Club of America" today.  I'm having a little trouble posting but finally found this. Maybe it will work :)  I am not new to quilting but have returned to quilting after a hiatus of about 10 years.  My mother and grandmothers have always quilted so I was introduced to the art early but life got in the way and I hadn't quilted in quite a while.  I've been back at it for about a year now and am loving it!

Welcome, Irene!  What part of Texas are you in?  If you have any questions about posting, ask away.  We'd love to help you so that we can learn more about you and maybe seem some pictures of your projects.

Hi Irene - I previously lived in the great state of Texas.  I lived in Bay City for 6 years and that is where I learned to quilt.  I also lived in the suburbs of Houston for about 12 years.  I'm married to a native Texan from Waco.  I miss living in Texas and the great quilt guild I belonged to in Kingwood.  Hopefully we can return when my husband retires.  I'm new also but was happy to see a posting by someone from Texas!
