I am also a newbie and I just was given this computer after many years of waiting. It was a God moment! I don't have a job and my husband is working very little at this time so I can not purchase any offers they listed @ this time yet. I do have some projects and watching F&P on the television gives me the support to attempt them. You can participate in the general message boards and the groups without being a paid member. To get the magazine, discount coupons, QNNtv, and F&P you have to be a paid member and that usually runs about $40 a year. But please feel free to take part in the free stuff and enjoy your time with us.
