Here's some pics of the quilts on display at the quilt show today.

 

This one had over 33,000 little pieces each square was about 1/2in.

This one is made from material from dresses made for her granddaughter from the age of 5 to 13.

 

This landscape was done in bargello with some appliques done over the piecing.

I really liked the batik wedding ring too.  But the work involved in the tiger just took my breath away.  I can not imagine working with 1in squares to end up with 1/2 in blocks much less doing a whole big quilt out of them.  Just boggled my mind......

Wow Nana!  Thanks for the quilt show.  They are all great but that tiger blows me away!  Such painstaking work.

Me too Marge.  I can not imagine attempting something like that.   I would drive me even more crazy than I already am.......LOL>

Thanks for the beautiful quilt show Nana.  They are all great!  I think my favorite was the one that looks like a mosaic of little stained glass tiles.  Wow!
