Since we no longer have the quilt show in Knoxville I would love a retreat The Pigeon Forge area is very nice but maybe more expensive in the fall, prime time. There are several quilt shops nearby and Knoxville would be the closet airport. TN is a central location for most states. Do not know what is available for retreats but someone from the Smokey Mtn quilt guild might be able to answer that

How are things coming along with your retreat?
No clue. the converstation just stopped. Hope we will still do it. I would love that. And DH could use some time alone, without my chatter.
How did hubby's surgery go? I am finishing my first quilt class and I think it is pretty good and I definitely improved on each Churn Dash block. I have been to Sew Be It in Ringgold, GA several times, have great staff. They are having a famous quilting/color expert there on 10/17, in case anyone is interested. Kaffe Fassett. He is in Chattanooga for the week witht lecture and quilting seminars.
Has anyone heard any more about having retreat next year?
Nan, Is he teaching a class or what? I would love to be there, regardless. Jim has PT at 1:30 but for that he could reschedule and I could come up to Ringgold. Will have to see about this.
Any word on the plan for this retreat? I would love to go!
Leah
Go to groups and check out the QCA Retreats group. There are 3 different retreats being held between the midwest and the eastern seaboard.

Thank you Nana
I would be driving from VA but is there any more room for this retreat? I would love to go to one!
The Virginia Beach retreat is presently full. But if we have a spot open up I will be glad to let you know. There are a couple spots open in the Smokey Mtn retreat. If you check out the retreats over in groups you will be able to find all the information.
