Hi everyone,   I have been a bit of an absentee member the last week or sew. . .I have been busy quilting on the dnosaur quilt for my cousin's grandbaby. . .(with time out for a visit w/my folks who came down from PA for a few days). . .I finished the hand stitiching on the binding last night!!    I will post a pic of the completed quilt once I sew the label on. . .

I did take a few minutes to read the posts each day so that I would have an idea of what was going on. . .

Just want to say welcome to all the newbies that joined while I was "chained" to the sewing machine. . .glad you are all with us. . .look forward to seeing projects and learning more about each of you

Helen, glad to hear your daughter is doing better. . .waiting to hear more info on Mia. . .keep us posted Happy!

ceecee,

I'm glad you took a breather and stopped in to say Hi. Did you get your quilt done?  We are patiently waiting for pics.

CeeCee, another quilting song!  We had 2 yesterday and now you have another completed quilt top - I can't wait to see the picture.  That feels so great when you put that last stitch in.  It is so fleeting though cuz as soon as i do, I am on to the next project.  I think I need to savor that moment a little more but am so happy for you so I will savor your moment...lol

I am so happy that you got to spend time with your parents... those visits are precious.  Glad to see you back and posting had missed you!

I've decided I quilt vicariously through all of you. I don't seem to be making much progress on the current quilt, but I tell you I'm caught up with all the messages! :-)

Judy - oh Judy... yippeee!!! she is caught up on the messages... now we need to get you quiting...

I am dreaming of sewing right now - wishing I was sewing... my sewing machine is giving me dirty looks it wants to be on - have you ever seen one give you dirty looks... it isn't nice - I can imagine how many needles it will break now because it is mad at me...lol

What quilt are you working on - my fuzzy brain can't remember if you told us so please refresh my memory - I am still working on BOP... it has waited for 5 years to be started so guess it is a patient quilt....not my sewing machine though it isn't patient at all.

The quilt is called Wheel in Motion; it's in the Quilting Through Life book.

Ceecee,

glad you got the quilt done. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Also want to let you know the Blueberry ice cream was a big hit with DH. I think it needs a little tweaking. Too much cream. That's all I can taste.

No, mine is sage greens, goldish, redish, and purple - kind of. Man, that's a really good explanation, huh?!
