I'll be waiting for dusting of snow to melt off road then I'll be going to friend's house for a sewing day. I've been teaching her to quilt. I will help her select fabric for a log cabin quilt. It should be fun. We'll also go out to lunch (around the corner). We don't need to go buy fabric, just look thru our stashes. Have a great day.

All,
I finished unquilting my last project last night. My hands are so happy! I did put up the quilting frame yesterday so I could baste this quilt appropriately. A break is in order for today, to rest my hands and back. It will back at it tomorrow though. Have a Wonderfully Quilty Day!

Yesterday was a major lazy day for me. I was home all day but couldn't seem to find any motivation at all. I did NOTHING! Now today I have to work and hopefully come home to sew. That is the plan!! Work, sew! No cleaning or cooking - just work, sew! Maybe I should make that my new montra!!

need to make valances for the new office space, so gotta go look at fabric! Rats! LOL! Also need to paint one wall in the office as the previous renter made the wall quite a mess. Gotta figure out where to hang everything, I keep changing my mind . . . :-) Hope to finish cleaning my sewing room on Saturday. Just have the counter to clean . . . which involves going thru things and finding where to put it all . . . Have a great one everyone!

MNnancy:it has been my experience that they do not post items related to the newest issue until about a week after I receive it.

Rhonda Laws:AND it has the most beautiful quilt on the bed that my husband's first wife made before she passed. Actually had to have a friend of hers finish it. She quilted it by hand, here is a pic....

What a day for sewing this will be. I got up this morning to temp of 1 degree and snow on the ground from yesterday. The sun is out this morning, but it is so cold that even my dogs do not want to be out for long. Right now they are curled up in their respective places and ignoring everything around them. I am hoping that the sun melts this snow, but doubtful with these temps. I am hibernating in my sewing room.
