Hello,
Because this thread is so popular, and it gets so many replies which can sometimes cause performance issues, we will continually add new "versions."
The original thread was started on October 17, 2009 by Althea.
Thanks,

ok! my very favorite website! Keep up the wonderful hospitality. Merry Christmas Y'all!
No quilts today again. Got two pairs of doll PJ's sewn -- just need their buttons. Got a dress almost done - needs the sleeves and buttons.
Tonight I will be far away from my sewing machine. Going with DIL to see Jaimie's choral concert at the Griffin Auditorium. Hubby is a bit on the puny side so he is going to wimp out on me.

Stephanie:And Harry and David's Moose Munch, yummy too!
Stephanie,
I never heard of Moose Munch before today. It looks delicious. I'm not sure I'll be able to have it though (peanut allergy).
Thank goodness. It was getting way too long.
I am working on a doll quilt for my granddaughter's baby doll for a Christmas present.

Just what everyone needs, a fattening recipe. LOL Kris, here is a link to a blog with a recipe for making Munch. You can make it with only safe ingredients. You'll probably have to wait till you feel a little better, but hubby could make some now.

Thanks for the recipe. I like mine with pecans and white chocolate. Dried cranberries are also good.

Marge and CJ,
Love to see pics of your dolly projects.
Joni,
Back at ya!
I might even have to break down and do some baking. That moose munch looks great! Choc and caramel and pecans and maybe even raisins. WE might have to try this out..

I didn't realize Moose Munch had peanuts. Or maybe peanut oil? I just love it cause of the chocolate covered popcorn.
Can't order it often though and I shouldn't order it at all this year! DH baked cc cookies and I ate them like a kid. I had to slap my own hands. LOL. Here I had lost 20 lbs, and now I am like an eating machine. It's this doggone cold weather!
I stopped into Target today, and was looking for Otis a cat sweater. I ended up in the baby dept and bought him a fleece jammie with the feet and snap front. It is brown with trucks and cars. I brought it home and cut it across below the last snap and made him a cat sweatshirt. Worked perfectly, but I had to laugh when I put it on him, he froze like a statue, afraid to move. Now he's purring and quite comfy.
Pat,
Thanks for the much link, I think.LOL
Guys
I love the new thread and the fact that everything moves much faster. But I have just been thinking....can anyone even come close to a number of all the absolutley gorgeous quilt pics that had been posted in that massive thread. It would take days to go back through them all.
Gini: MNnancy: So if DH and I are hoping to go somewhere warm for the winters (Dec, Jan, Feb) once I'm retired, what part of the US would be the best bet? Hawaii, it's paradise!

I've always heard Hawaii is expensive. Could a person afford to stay there for a month or two?

Good point. I wonder if the pictures w/ names attached could be collected and posted in a file folder somewhere on the site.
