I don't see a way to post either. The only thing I noticed was the majority of the recipes are posted by admin. There is a contact link where you could write it end and send to them to post.

ingredients for sugar cookie shooters
Method
Boil the 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin until completely dissolved, about 3 minutes. Stir the Irish Cream, Butterscotch, Cointreau and cold water into the hot gelatin. Pour contents into shot glasses with enough room to add whipped cream later. Refrigerate until firm. Spoon or pipe whipped cream on top and decorate with sugar decorations or colored sugar.
'm trying this for christmas eve:

Thanks! I never could figure out how to post recipes either so I just didn't --so I guess its ok to post on the board perhaps. I have some great recipes for Christmas.
Placing a recipe to the blog happens the way the show & tell used to work. Go to the "Quilters' Recipe Blog" (left hand column of home page). Then select "Contact" under "shortcuts" on right had side of page. Type in the info then "send". Admin will do the rest.
thanks kris. wish it were more intuitive how to post in recipes gini
You're welcome Gini. I'm hoping they'll get to that and change the way it works.

I don't mean to sound naive, but I've never had a jello shooter. Do these come out of the shot glasses easily? I'm picturing that you tip your head back and drink this down in one gulp, but does it really just slide out like a liquid would, or do you need to grease the glass? I think they sound great and would be fun to present to friends.
nancy, they are made with jello so they are semi-solid. i've just had them made in a large cake pan and cut into squares. i think they were just vodka and jello gini
