There are web sites that carry the colored screens. Try using Bing search engine or try some different words. here are some web site I found. Jo-Ann's used to carry the plastic mesh in colors. Some quilt shops carry it as well.

The fabric is sometimes referred to as plastic screen. Some craft stores carry it, some places like Menards also carry it. It's used on screen doors. Lyle Enterprises is where we got screen for the project.

Sue - I checked out this magazine after Gini brought this back up to the top. I doubt that you can still buy the kit through fons and Porter but I see that the designer has contact information on page 93. Maybe you could contact her and she can give you a source for the fiberglass screen.

Hi, I was going through the Winter 2008 winter Easy Quilt online magazine and found a project regarding ruler holders on page 92. It looks like it would be useful and simple to make. I know I can use other fabric or colors, but was wondering where would I find the red fiberglass screen. I live in the midwest near Kansas city. I have gone online but have not found anything except for the regular colors of screen mesh. Thanks for any help.
