Many have tried. I am like a clothes dryer, it goes in and the "fluff" builds and builds!
Sukochi, I've done lots of applique using fusible and then doing a buttonhole stitch by hand or by machine. Mine have all held up just fine. I have a pot holder in the dryer right now, fusible and machine buttonhole stitch, had heavy use and many, many washings and it is holding just fine. I use heat n bond lite fusible for mine.

Re: APPLIQUE GROUP

Thanks, Gini.
Got a quilt top pieced today, needs borders. I started a BOM, that someone donated to Quilted Hugs From Maddie. I am counting on having this quilt top finished in time to send it to Nan for FMQ. The donation will be on March 6th in Adairsville, GA.

But, as I normally sit and watch TV with Jim in the evenings, I can do this hand work while I watch TV. I will go ahead and get all the background fabric cut and the templates done for the first few months between now and March 1. then, I will be ready. As long as someone answers all my silly (are they silly?) questions.

Re: APPLIQUE GROUP

Jane Seybold:

What's wrong with starting another quilt?
