My GD and her family were here from the other side of the state also, got to see my youngest GGD who is 18 months old-and I hadn't seen her since she was 6 weeks old. It was all just the best ever. Ginny

Thanks Leslie. My daughter and her boys flew and my son and SIL drove her things and they all came in just ahead of all the storms.. God is good!

Yes, Leslie, it was truly wonderful. The greatest part was getting my daughter here from Oregon, but she is leaving to go back to Oregon tomorrow morning-traveling by train. Great adventure. Ginny

Spud, I am sooo glad that all of your family arrived safely for Christmas. Mine was all here too. We numbered 23 at dinner on Christmas and everyone had an awesome time. My GD and her family were here from the other side of the state also, got to see my youngest GGD who is 18 months old-and I hadn't seen her since she was 6 weeks old. It was all just the best ever. Wow, it sounds like Santa was good to everyone. I did not get anything yet, except the safe arrival of all my family which is the best gift of all. I do, however, get to go and look for an armoire, for one of my bedrooms, that I can store quilting stuff in and, for right now, my daughter can use it for her things while she is here. I hope I can find what I want and not have to give an arm and a leg for it.

Jeanine, what a great room you have to work in. All you need now is a mini fridge and you should be all set for the winter. : )

Actually, there is a full-size fridge, sink and microwave right outside the door in the family room. Yeah, I never really have to leave the basement.

love your ruler holder Will have to somehow show it to my nephew, maybe he will make me one like that...to go with the one he made me.

Georgia Girl...love my Square n Square ruler...over 200 flying geese with it in not time. Looking forward to making other designs this year. Enjoy yours.
