That is a really cute quilt Michelle!

I worked on my daughter's quilt (aka my first quilt) today. I got more quilting done on it. Just four more rows between big blocks then it get to start on the 9 patch squares. I hope to get it done by this Sunday. It will be a late Valentine's Day gift for her. :)

I finished up my Maxine quilt today. Has Minky on the back, sooo soft! I used this one to practice a different quilting pattern on each block.

I managed to do some quilting on a baby girl quilt that should have been done about a month ago. Iit wasn't talking to me as to how to quilt it! So now I'm on my way. I hope to be done tonight or tomorrow night at the latest.

Debbie christmas block looks great can't wait to see how they look inquilt.

I just had a little sewing therapy it really helps with all the stress. Finished row two of center on nephews quilt. I'm really tired but just don't want to sleep this is valuable quiet time in house.

I didn't worry about which way the stretch went. I just pinned it securely to the top and started quilting.

I think the ironing trick should work well, Donna, but you'll need to press gently so you don't stretch the square on the diagonal bias. Then use the yardstick to guide your rotary cutter. A group of us were at church today sewing skirts for girls in Africa, and no one had remembered to bring a long acrylic ruler, so we used a yardstick with a rotary cutter and it worked well.
