Hi Debbie! Welcome to the forum! I joined recently as well, but the ladies have been so warm and friendly I feel like it's 'home'. Wow, you have a 6 week old grandbaby!

Hi Debbie! I've seen some posts from you over on the MQ7 board...I'm new to the site, as well, and am enjoying meeting everyone.

Funny, our family has a GIRL problem - the reverse of you, want to switch a couple? Just for a little while? Haha...I have 4 daughters, my mother and two aunts make up the generation before me...I do have one grandson and a granddaughter, but overall - this family is ruled by women!

And I agree...I would never get any work done, if I worked as a librarian! I love books way too much!

Welcome, Debbie ! A librarian and a quilter, you are a girl after my own heart! I would never get the job done if I worked in a library, oh, how I love books. My DH is retired Navy and has been retired as long as he was in. We still miss it sometimes. Whats with all the boys ? We have another quilter with all boy GC and is hoping for a girl. Hi, Debbie! On the home page, click on Frequently Asked Questions. There's a link there for adding a fancy signature along with the directions. Welcome to QCA!

Welcome to QCA Debbie, I have a lot in common with you - I live in Enid Oklahoma - retired from the AF - not as long as your DH but retired now 10 years - I have been quilting on and off for my entire life it seems. I am a quiltoholic.

To get your signature go to Live Signatures and they will give you directions. Someone here will give you the URL. I believe the directions are on here somewhere... just don't remember where.

I'm Debbie from the heart of America - Oklahoma City! been quilting about 10 years off and on. started by taking a class to make a t-shirt quilt at the local high school, and then another and then another and then just doing it on my own.

I'm a working grandmother of 7 - 6 boys, ages 16, 14, 10, 6, 2, and 6 weeks plus one granddaughter age 15. yes, she's the handful! been married for 40 years, three children, two girls and a boy. husband is retired Air Force and we've now been retired as long as we are active. I'm a librarian so get to see lots of quilting books and magazines. Done a few quilts from them.

Also, how do I make my signature special like I see some of yours?
