He brought me a military wool blanket. It is thin but very dense and heavy. I made top out of plaid shirting and back from brushed denim. I need to know if this is too thick, so that it will cause problems? I have it loaded and ready to quilt. I was planning on just quilting horizontal stripes.TIA</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
