Welcome Tracy. I envy your quilting space...me, I've taken over one small bedroom (my mid-arm and frame are located there, as well as the ironing board and some fabric storage), the breakfast bar is home of 2 machines (one regular and one embroidery), and part of the living room has been reserved for my cutting table and computer work station. I think I need a bigger house, LOL.

Thank you, Kris. The sewing room is a work in progress, but I'm determined to make it perfect for me! Having space of my own like this has been a very long time coming! :)

I've spent many vacations in the Caribbean...I wouldn't mind it there either, if I could find a place isolated enough!

I sure don't know how you fit in quilting. I'm glad you do though. I remember those busy, busy days when my children were still at home. I looked at your beautiful quilts this morning. You did a great job. Can't wait to see more. Welcome to the club. You will love it here.

I am definitely busy, but happily so. After many years of raising small children, I finally feel I can breathe and do something I enjoy! No time like the present! I have managed to post a couple of pictures in my profile gallery. I will post more as they become relevant.

Welcome, Tracy. You don't let the grass grow under your feet, huh? Are there enough hours in your day to doo it all? Making quilts for the homeless is such a wonderful thing to do.

We live in a little mountain town in North East Georgia Mtns. Or, it was little when we moved here 9 years ago. Not so small since the big box stores moved in. We wanted a cabin in the worst way, but finances just didn't allow it. As we are senior citizens I think it would have been more work them we could handle.

You are so smart to have a teacher in quilting. It hels enormously.
