large block: cut a 4 1/2 inch center muslin square, 2 pieces of your outside fabric 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches and 2 pieces 2 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches.

sew the two smaller colored pieces to opposite sides of your center square, then sew the longer pieces to the other two sides of your center square

small block: cut a center muslin rectangle 6 1/2 x 2 . 2 pieces of outside fabric 1 1/2 x 2, and two pieces 8 1/2 x 1 3/4

you can see she has doubled up some of the smaller blocks and left them single in other places.

will someone be kind enough to check my maths for darlene?

Re: Wedding guest book quilt

Nana, is it quiltbus or quiltbug? Have they changed names? Link for directly to quiltbug.

Re: Wedding guest book quilt

I don't know why this link isn't working correctly but if you highlight it and right click it gives you the option to go to quiltbus.

Re: Wedding guest book quilt

Darlene
